A Meaningful Christmas Gift

I just donated almost half of my ad earnings through Nuffnang for the recent Philippine typhoon yolanda a month ago that devastated some regions very near to my island which also experienced an earthquake recently. I don't earn much and it is way lesser than what my parents had to donate but I'm a bit proud of myself for donating independently from my parents and for at least helping the victims in my own little way. Actually, I really felt like I had to pitch in because my family weren't able to donate much for this typhoon because we already donated a bigger amount for the 7.2 earthquake in my island province Bohol that occurred just a month before the storm. My family may already be living abroad but it is still our obligation to help because we still have properties in Bohol and we are part Filipino after all. I am actually very jealous to my two cousins who were able to book the next flight and volunteer with the relief effort. It is really hard to have all this surreal calamities terrorize innocent lives, some of my relatives and friends and my beautiful Philippine islands whilst all I could do was have my heart broken oceans apart so I really felt the need to at least pitch in a decent amount and thanks to Nuffnang for giving me the chance. Even though I just donated a small amount, I really do hope it can actually reach the family victims and could go a long way in the Philippines.
I am not personally endorsing any charities at all but please, my fellow international folks, I am very much encouraging you all to donate to the victims and displaced families in the Philippines may it be through the Philippine Red Cross, Unicef, the said link in the video or any other legit local charities even in your own little way.
